I made it back!
24kg suitcase and 8kg carryon but the lady didn't charge me, and when they weighed my carryone (life WTF O_o) but they didn't charge me! YAY!
I had an AMAZING time and I will update with pics and stuff, but my great aunt died while I was away so I'm probably heading up to Taupo tomorrow with Dad to go to the funeral and then back Saturday, but I don't know yet O-o
But OMGGGG! I DID IT AND IM ALIVE! I'm so happy right now :D

OMG!
I am just back at the hostel from what was possibly one of the most surreal experiences of my life.
WICKED THE MUSICAL LIVE ON STAGE!
It was AMAZING. The lights, the music, the acting, the show in general.
I didn't spend as much money there as I thought I would, thankfully, cos I have been over spending a little haha.
I'll write a more detailed entry in the morning, I have to be outta here by 10 tomorrrow though, and fly up to Brisbane!

Heyyyy babes!!
Man, I feel like I haven't posted here in for yonks!! I've been sooo busy, but its been great! I only graduated school what.....a month and a half ago and I have been pretty flat tack since then, which is totally awesome. The last couple of days have been great to chill out and sort out some stuff, but now I guess I really need to see what I can do next. Sorting stuff out isn't gonna take that long really....
Well, that film that I was helping those Grad students with wrapped on Sunday. Sad too see it over really, there was a lot of hard work put into that, and hopefully it will all work out! They are editing them themselves which is cool, but I just have to coordinate a screening which should be fun! It was an interesting experienece anyway, I can't exactly place my finger on what I learnt, but I'm sure there was something along the way.
But while I was doing that, I got a callup from one of my tutors at Film School asking me if I could do Wardobe Assistant for a rather large production company based in Wellington, and it would be paid!! Not amazingly, but still.....exciting!! It was a lot of fun. It was a docu-drama thing on cult based religions in NZ. I was helping out on the Scientology day and the Centrepoint day. Centrepoint is this freaky shit from the mid 70's-80's based in Auckland. I can't really explain it, but it will be on TV in NZ soon haha. Its gonna be on TV3 so watch out for it! Heres a wikipedia about the Centrepoint, its fascinating! It was a really fun thing to work on and I was really greatful for it too because its kinda my in at Gibsons, and they do so much! The Production lady seems a bit hesitatnt to hire me again because I don't have my lisence, but I'm getting my learners this week and I'm gonna get my restricted as soon as I can, I need it to get the work!
So now, I'm just pretty much hanging out, looking for work, fun times! I've been posting this "tour on NZ" on THUS, and I'm thinking about posting it here too, so you overseas people can see a little about my homeland.
Anyway, should probably get on sorting stuff, got a lot to do and got WoW rehersal tonight....fun times!

So we got our production roles yesterday, for the actucal films, like the on set jobs.
I got Locations Manager, Wardrobe and Production Manager. I'm ultra gutted I didn't get Art Director, cos thats what I really wanted to do, and still do, when I leave school, but hey. I'm also kinda gutted I didn't get 1st AD aka BIG BOSS of the set, btu meh, I guess I've just gotta deal with what I've been given.
I'm not really sure what the hell Locations Manager is going to involve, just like looking after the location on the day and stuff I guess, should be kinda boring I think, but meh, I'll just watch whats going on XD.
Wardrobe....well....at least its something in the Art Department, and I get to spend a lot of the time with the actors lol. The Art Director for that shoot is also a little....well....incompatent. I know that sounds evil, but she's never sure of herself with whatever shes doing, so I'm hoping that I'm gonna get a chance to do a little bit of Art Department there anyway lol.
Production Manager eh? Well, thats like the TOP JOB! Apart from Director. But if I don't like anything the directors doing, then I get to tell him so and make him do it my way LOL. I'm kinda gutted about the one I got that job on though cos its the 1940's war film and it looks like its gonna be based out my way, yet I still have to get into town and hang out in the Production Office, which kinda sucks, but hey. Its a good job, I'm not complaning.
Should be an interesting few movie making shoots.
Went out for dinner with a few classmates last night and went back to school and watched Twilight and Transformers. OMG Twilight was amazingly badly done. We were all laughing at it and picking out the mistakes lol. Seriously, I think our class coulda made a better movie. Transformers was kinda cool, but the disc kept skipping which was annoying. Managed to sit next to that special someone which was cool, I got lotsa chocolate!
Anyway, must go. We're going down to Spotlight cos I needa pick out a pattern for my graduation dress! 10 weeks of school left!! O_O

They want to give the North and South Island Maori names, like offically, and they are a little bit of a a mouthful, (North Island - Te Ika a Maui (the fish of Maui...long story. Its cool though. Google it XD) and South Island - Te Wai Pounamu (Something about greenstone LOL. I don't quite know what....)
but this one guy who was asked about his opinion was like "They are a bit simple. Probably makes it easier for Australian tourists though"
